Personal Profile
Steve has been speaking Spanish since 1987. He started teaching Spanish to adults in Leeds at the beginning of 2019 and he has many happy learners. His interest in the Spanish language started when he went to work as a holiday rep in Spain in the late 80s. During the 10 years living and working in Spain, Steve developed a love for the county, its culture and of course its language. That passion continues to this day, over 30 years later.

In addition to his study, Steve believes that a major benefit to his overall comprehension of the language and his ability to speak it, was the fact that he lived in Spain and was therefore able to listen and observe the way the Spanish people spoke. Today this would be referred to as "Spanish Immersion" where you are basically surrounded by the language and able to learn passively and subconsciously.

Steve and his team now operate short Spanish immersion trips to some of Spain's cultural cities such as Malaga, Alicante, Granada, Seville, Valencia and Madrid. (not typical mass tourist destinations) The trips are short 3, 4 or 5 day durations and include an intensive Spanish learning experience with groups of up to to 15 people, all of whom are looking to learn Spanish amongst new friends, in beautiful and cultural surroundings in the Spanish sun.......not to mention the amazing Spanish cuisine and its choices of appropriate beverages.
